I've done a lot of soul-searching and deep-thinking these past few days and have decided to completely change my life by giving up for good all forms of gambling, drinking, smoking and casual sex. Instead I'll devote my time to writing, exercising, meditating and reading the famous spiritual books; the Bible, the Qur'an, the Tripitaka, etc...
I hope that by taking my life down this path I can find inner peace and live out a much happier existence for myself.

This coming Saturday I'm supposed to be flying to Bratislava to spend a few days of drinking and chilling out with a mate. As per usual, the plan has gone tits up as my mate's gone and got himself Swine Flu. You couldn't make this shit up.
So, I'm now left with the decision: Do I want to bother going on my tod or shall I just forget about it and lose the little bit of money I spent on the flights?
I'm still undecided.
I owe a mate some money on Pokerstars and a big part of me is saying stay at home and spend the weekend grinding up through the low buy-in Sit'n'Gos and have a bet on the football. To be honest, though, I can't remember my last real winning session.
The other part of me is arguing back that I really should take a few days away from home and that the time alone walking around the picturesque Old Town might help to clear my head a bit.
I'll still have the money to pay back the mate that I owe in a few days anyway so it might just be the tonic I need.
So, last night I did a quick Couch Search on the Couch Surfing website - the only way I travel, as it means you get to really experience the place you're visiting by introducing you to local people - and after selecting a small amount of people that looked and seemed cool, I sent them emails asking if they'd have room for a little one for a few days.
If I get a decent reply before Friday then I'll go. If not, then I won't. Simples.

I've just booked myself a little rendez-vu at a sexy lady's place in Vienna. It's only like half an hour from Bratislava, and her invitation seemed too good to turn down :-)
There's a very simple trick to only staying with hotties, and that is to only send requests to hotties.
Simples. And, don't think you're alone in wanting a bit of the other. The girls use couchsurfing in much the same way. Everyone's a winner.
